Hmmm. That might be tough.. I dont think I have seen any ring like that. But if you go to Jareds or a jewlery company with loose diamonds and settings you can design it yourself.

Good Luck.

Welcome to the Hive Laughing

Your vision for a ring sounds super amazing very personal and intimate and is making me melt…I think you may have to “build” your own ring…Have you tried on Blue Nile? I think you can ‘build’ a ring on that site….

You can always buy a diamond from Blue Nile and have it set in a ring that you design with a local jeweler.

My suggestion is go to Tiffany’s. They make all their rings to order!

Any good, reputable jeweler can do custom work. All you have to do is ask.

I am curious though, what are yours and her birthday stones? That’s an incredibly sweet idea, but are you sure she wouldn’t mind the lack of symetry (the sidestones not being the same color)? Unless she specifically said that’s what she wanted, I feel like you’d be taking a pretty big leap of faith thinking that she’ll love the look. Personally, it would really bother me (the different colored stones). What about something like this instead?

Then it will be right next to the engraving! Same idea, just a bit less bold. ๐Ÿ™‚ What do you think?

Thanks Emily! ๐Ÿ™‚ Acorn, it’s custom piece by Brian Gavin Diamonds (found it on pricescope.com). BGD has really gorgeous settings!

I think that I agree with littlemissmango.  Unless she has been vocal about wanting that you may want to be caustious.  I am super sentimental and love the idea of the birthstones so the picture she posted is amazing!  Good luck!

I agree about the sidestones as well… my first thought was aw…… but a little scared of her reaction ๐Ÿ™‚ i’d go for maybe just 1 color side stone if you’d like to do gemstones on the side, or do something like the photo above!

Definitely see if you can find a local jeweler.  Most reputable jewelers will be happy to customize a ring for you with out to extreme additional costs. My setting was actually a semi-custom setting from a local jeweler.   I personally like the idea of different colored stones as it adds a uniqueness and personality to the ring.
