I am pmsing big time!
I used to be on birth control for years, and when I stopped, I got pregnant right away, then I didn’t have period until my son was 10 months old.
Now my third real period is approaching and I am a mess! I couldn’t sleep last night, rolled around in bed for 3 hours and finally fell asleep past 1am.
Darling Husband woke up at 5 this morning and had the brilliant idea to hop in the shower and go to work. Waking me in the process, as well as the baby, but he wasn’t there to take care of him so I had no chance to go back to sleep.
With my pms mood swings, I am so angry that I am physically shaking (ok maybe the fatigue isn’t helping).
Darling Husband feels so bad he said he’d try to get off work in the morning so he can spend time with our son and I can sleep.
NOT a good way to start the day.

Hang in there! Prior to going on the pill, did you have really bad (like sent home from school bad) PMS? It could be that you have a more severe case of it (PMDD). After years of being told that it was normal, I found out that my PMS is not.
Long term sollution, can you go back on the pill? Or up your breastfeeding to try to stop the period?
Short term sollution, is there anyone (friend, family) who can hold the baby for 4 hours when you sleep? I think if you were close to me and shared what you shared with me, I would be over in a heartbeat.
Also, grab a mocha and some french fries– caffine and chocolate do wonders. And salty fat is amazing! Hang in there!

@Pollywog: AAww thanks!
Before I went on the pill years ago it seemed I had a case of depression that lasted a week, every single month. The pill really helped with that.
Now were TTC again so there’s not much I can do about it… I thought after we’d be done making babies, I wouldn’t go back on the pill because I don’t like taking meds for nothing. But if I have to go through this evey single month, I will go back on the pill in a heartbeat!
Darling Husband will be coming back from work around 11 so I can sleep.
