@AIrizarry: Do you know the style number?

Have you tried searching on preownedweddingdresses.com, oncewed.com, recycledbride.com, etc?

What is the budget for your wedding dress? Perhaps you can find a similar dess by another designer? Maggie Sottero has alot of A-line gowns that look like this for a quarter of the price

Have you looked at the Maggie Sottero Sabelle?

I agree that Sabelle is a great alternative!

I don’t want to be discouraging, but I’ve seen this dress posted by other Bees as “the dream dress” before and I’ve yet to see anyone find it used. Also I think this dress is at least $8K, so even if you do find it used, you’re probably looking at at least $3K+, not including alterations . Is that within your budget? You still have A LOT of time before your wedding so definitely keep looking in case a bargain one pops up, but it wouldn’t hurt to keep your options open in the meantime. Once you start trying on dresses, you may fall in love with something else.

@AIrizarry- I undertstand. I think everyone’s picky when they come to their wedding gown. If you are looking to spend under $1,000 I highly doubt you can get that Pnina even if its already been worn. Have you considered having your dress made? This might allow you to get your dress dress for an affordable price. Or you could try a similiar dress from a lower priced designer and still search for a preowned.

Also, when I look at that picture it reminds me a lot of Sophia Tolli gowns. Have you looked at that collection?

@AIrizarry: I don’t think you will find a pnina (even a used one) for less than $1,000. They sell for $5,000 – $20,000 new, so used you are probably looking at $2,500 – $10,000.

You need to figure out your budget first and then start going to bridal salons and trying dresses on.

Keep in mind things can be changed. If you like all but one part of a dress, ask if it can be made in a sweetheart neck, or without the beading, or whatever.

Most bridal gowns are custom orders, so they can sometimes do some additions/leave outs before even shipping your dress to the salon.

You could try getting a replica made. There are a bunch of ebay sellers from China who will make you a custom gown based off pictures. Jeff Liu is making my dress right now and I got a great price, you could probably get yours under 300/400

I’m in college right now too and unemployed so that’s why I went that route

Good luck with all the wedding planning!

Are you still in the market for this dress?  The sample is at Church Street Bridal…I don’t remember the price…maybe $700?  $650?

It doesn’t have the flowers that are just below the waist, but it has the flowers at the “v” where the lace is.

I’ve been volunteering there (it’s a charity bridal shop…Kleinfeld gives them the samples to sell).  I’m posting pictures of it tomorrow on their blog, which is how I wound up finding your thread.

Did you check out the new Maggie Sottero Fall 2011 line? There is a dress that looks JUST like this! The price is probably less than $2000.
