i’m pretty sure there are used pnina tornai dresses on sale at preownedweddingdresses.com (you can search by designer and keyword)–are those more in your budget?

I would be cautious about knock-offs of her designs because of the amount of intricate detail and structure required. Her gowns are expensive in part because they are so hard to make. It would be quite difficult to sew a knock-off of her design for cheap without sacraficing the overall effect of the dress. Usually the knock-off makers do best with simpler gowns that require little structure.

totally agree, however essense of australia makes a corset with a great silk that is very pnina-tornai esque to me…
