Some people are going to get sensitive. I find some of her dresses appalling. The see through ones are just inappropriate for most weddings. Every time they show a bride actually wearing it, she is in church. Not cool and I’m not even a church goer.

I could never spend that much on a whole dress, let alone half of a dress!

I wouldn’t say they’re trashy. Maybe flashy. But trashy is kind of harsh.

They look like the little sister of the dresses on My Big Fat gypsy wedding…. i can’t believe they are so pricey.

Neither. Everyone has their own taste and that’s how it should be. Whether you or someone else loves a certain designer’s gowns or hates them has no bearing on whether they are “classy vs not” because style is a personal thing. But it in no way makes the person trashy who chooses to wear them, simply because your tastes may be worlds apart from theirs and it is offensive to imply that it is.

I’ve seen a couple (long since discontinued) styles I liked but overall I don’t care for her dresses. I wouldn’t call them trashy though, even if they are immodest for most settings and crowds.

I agree with Kate169. Very far from trashy. But they are flashy. It depends on the style and everything that you want. I love her dresses, but i would not want to wear a see through corset. So I am classified under the “I love looking like a slutty crystal cream puff! – classy” section. Even though I am very far from it lmao

I think with any dress designer, I love some and I hate some dresses. I just hate how on “Say Yes to the Dress” she was complaining that she is worth the money when someone had a lower budget than what her dresses start at. “But I am PNINA” ughh that just made me groan.

I happen to agree–they’re not my taste.  But the “slutty crystal cream puff” option in your poll is, frankly, just a little mean.  Any girl who opens this poll and happens to love Pnina and her dresses is going to have a very unflattering poll option to choose.

It’s easy to say that an opinion in a post/thread should not be taken seriously, but that doesn’t stop someone else from potentially being offended or hurt if they don’t share that same opinion, especially when labels such as “slutty”, etc are used.

I think that some of her dresses are pretty and more my taste, but others are more over the top and just not my style. I wouldn’t say they’re trashy though..it takes a certain bride to pull some of them off, and not all of them would be church appropriate. They’re definitely special eyecatching dresses! (:
