    Ew, hate them - trashy

I love looking like a crystal cream puff! - classy

Not my taste but I can see where others would like her gowns

I personally can’t handle the see through gowns. I think they are awful. However, if they add a layer of fabric underneath so you cant see through them then they can be very pretty. Also, some of her non-see through gowns are lovely.

some of her dresses aren’t that bad, but most belong in a strip club, not a church…

@ItWasntMe: I remember that one! She was the one who had reconnected with her high school sweetheart at their 40 yr reunion or something. She was a lovely older woman, but the dress would have been inappropriate for even a 20 yr old! ((shudder))

Like I said, I like some of them..I’ve seen a couple that were/are stunning. But the majority of them are over priced and overrated…and tacky. They tend to look more like costumes than bridal gowns, though I’m all for a woman going for whatever look she wants on her wedding day.

I think this one is STUNNING.

If I end up doing a TTD on our honeymoon, I’ve actually thought about a knock off version of this one..WITH A PANEL ADDED ofcourse, lol I keep calling it “Shipwrecked Bride”. LOL

@Kemi82Justice of the Peace: Yes the see through ones really make me feel uncomfortable to watch brides try on and wear.

ETA- they do not bother me when they have a panel : )

    @EffieTrinket: Lol!

I don’t think all of them are trashy, some of them are covered up and look like normal dresses.  But I was pretty shocked the first time I saw a photo of someone wearing lingerie with a puffy skirt at their wedding!  The first thought in my brain was definitely “trash”.  For sure.

@Ember78: Actually, she’s an Israeli designer, but it still makes sense because Middle Eastern wedding dress designs tend to be a lot more over the top. Here’s her Israeli site: http://www.pninatornai.co.il/

I personally find her to be too over the top for my taste, and I’m not a huge fan of how she executes her see through corset designs. That said, I know she does more classic and simpler designs that I personally find to be beautiful and more aligned with my sensibilities.

Some are trashy, but others are downright gorgeous (the non-see-through-corset ones).

    Not a fan.

I’m sure she has some lovely dresses, but the one’s I’ve seen on SYTTD make the girls look like they’re wearing lingerie with curtains.

I think it really comes down to styling.

Any dress can look “trashy” if the bride goes over the top with accessories and hairstyles (think: huge hair with giant tiara)

I think it’s really hard to judge the pricing on some gowns without seeing in person the quality of materials. Some of Pnina’s dresses are super pricey but the materials are of higher quality or even custom so of course they are going to be more expensive.

You could get the same look and save tons of cash by buying a sheer white corset at Fredricks of Hollywood and wrapping yards of tulle around your waist for a skirt.

I really just do not understand how the price is justified. Like the 20K plus one on SYTTD the other day? I didn’t love it. But to each her own, I suppose. For the purpose of this poll though, YEAH, don’t like her designs or get the hype surrounding them. “But I’m PNINA!” Ok. You need a reality check lady. 😉
