Ugh, I never thought I’d be one of those women who does it but I’ve peed on probably 6 hcg sticks and several (not sure how many) wondfo LH sticks in the last week and a half.  My cycles are a little wonky (with random bleeding spells) and I just went back to taking my temperature every morning.  I told myself I’d wait until Sunday before I pee on another stick.  🙂

@IUrebekah3RT:  I never thought peeing on something would be an addiction I would have to battle but, sigh, here I am!

It even carries over to OPKs. It’s just something about seeing lines pop up from pee that gets me every.single.time.

Present and accountes for ma’am.  I am addicted to poas every day. I keep telling DH that I will hold off for a day but alas I am weak. I am addicted to the poas high and there is no cure!

I’m a total and confirmed POAS-aholic!  I’m proud of myself though… I found out I was pregnant 9 days ago and have “only” *cough*hahaonly*cough* POAS’ed on 8 FRER’s, 1 regular digi, 4 week estimator digis, 10-12 Wondfos, 1 Answer, and 2 dollar store tests….  😉

I’ve been known to test on cd4-5 because my period seemed weird.  😛

Total POAS addict here! I start POAS waaaay too early in the TWW. :p

I thought I’d share a funny story. I was in the living room and my husband walked out of the bathroom holding a little blue plastic cup. He said, “Why do you have a plastic shot cup in the bathroom? Are you drinking tequila in the bath?”. I told him, “Put that back and go wash your hands!” He looked at me puzzled. I think he genuinely thought I might have a drinking problem. LOL! I then had to explain that it was my pee cup. He just laughed at me. The only thing I could find small enough and reusable was a shot glass.

@CocoLoco523:  LOL!!!  We bought a economy size bag of the tiny paper cups and have it sitting in the bathroom.  That way I can just grab one and go!  😛  Is it sad that I have very few left now?  >.<

@dodgercpkl:  see the reusable one makes it less obvious that you have an addiction. You don’t see your supply dwindling. hahaha

@CocoLoco523:  LOL!!  True, but then this does give me a concept of the vast financial support that I’ve given to the HPT industry over the past few years…. Out of 450 cups, there are probably like 50 remaining!!

Hi, my name is MrsBaldEagle and I am addicted to POAS!   Ovulation tests – pregnancy tests whatever – I’ll use way to many of them. I bought the cheapies off amazon and used 8 out of the 10 pregnancy tests during my last cycle – including 2 FRERs and a digital.  I POA wonfo a few weeks ago – why?  I have no idea but I did.  I think we are just impatient thrill seekers and love playing emotional russian roulette!

Haha this past cycle I was a POAS NUT…and then it spilled over to this cycle AFTER my period BEFORE I O’d. My period was just a tiny bit lighter than normal and I had myself convinced that it was possible that it was just really long, heavy implantation bleeding. And I POAS like 3 days after it was done. Clearly a BFN. So embarrassing.

Haha, I love this! I was lucky enough to get my BFP on our second try, but I still managed to pee on a lot of sticks! I used a ton of OPKs, and then blew through a bunch of pregnancy tests, even though I just knew it would be a BFN. Next cycle I got myself a ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor, so I PO those sticks daily, plus I used OPKs, and when I got my BFP, I used SEVEN sticks! Just had to try them all!

@IUrebekah3RT:  I poas from August, BFN every day BUT i was late for my period by 4 weeks although i had just had my implant out so i was all over the place. Finally got my period on 23rd Sept so i didnt test then … fast forward to 10dpo and i tested again. BFP yay … kept on testing every day until my m/c at 4+5 then i stopped. Then 2 weeks later i had to check all the hcg was gone so i tested and got the bug again so i tested every day from 3 days before ovulation all the way up until my BFP. Luckily it was the same month and i found out on 9dpo! I still havnt stopped testing but im worried about m/c again. Im an addict for deffo. I used 150 cheapies plus 2 first response, 4 superdrug and 6 other cheap pee sticks so far. but shhh dont tell my husband!!

LOL I love this. Every cycle I say I’m not going to test, and not only do I test, but I spend a fortune on FRERs because they are the only ones I trust. This cycle i’m only 5 dpo and having tiny spotting and AF like cramps today. I look back through FF and this is not uncommon for me but of course I’m wishing and hoping it’s a sign of a BFP to come. I will try hard not to test until AF is late but I know I won’t make it…. Last cycle was the first one in a long time that I did not test!! But after AF came and went I was still feeling off so I bought a cheapie on sale and tested, because I’m crazy, and got an obvious BFN. It’s insane, this POAS addiction!!
