Your age/partner’s age: 29/32 (and as my Mother-In-Law reminded me the other day, “not getting any younger!”)

    Baby #: #1

    Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD15

Ovulation Date: Waiting for my LH surge any day now – I think my cycles are about 30 days so it should be coming soon, but I only temped for like half a cycle before this one, so still figuring it out. I’m using one of those testers that also tells you when your estrogen rises, and today was my third day with high estrogen, so hopefully the LH will surge today.
POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: 1/12, or later, depending on when I O.
Cycles Trying: This is our first. We weren’t sure we were going to try on this one, but decided to do it. I am scheduled for a CT-guided nerve block on 1/21 for chronic pain, and we were going to wait for that because I can’t have the CT when pregnant, but it will only help for a few months anyway, and we need to get pregnant by April or stop trying for a year, so we don’t want to waste any cycles! suceeding this cycle will also mean probably missing my brother’s wedding, so that was a hard choice to try but I couldn’t reduce our chances since we have such limited time.

BFP Plan (BD timing, charting, prenatals, supplements, etc.): Taking prenatal vitamins, stopped or am tapering off meds that aren’t good for fetus – terrible timing to taper off pain meds while travelling bc of extra pain but like I said, we have no cycles to waste. Charting temps, CM, cervical position, and OPKs. Trying to stay relaxed under the time cooker. We have to move cities 6/16, after which Fiance starts a surgery internship which means being gone from 4 or 5 am to 8 or 9 pm 6 days a week. But before that he will have a light schedule, so we want to have the baby be 3 months at least before having to move and lose his help, esp since I have to be off my pain meds for severe chronic pain while preggo and breastfeeding.

Just for fun- What are your new year’s resolutions?: Don’t let our dog be an affection drain on our relationship – he hogs up all the physical affection if we let him. Try to be as active as I can while off my meds/in extra pain. Make a baby!

Had a temp dip yesterday and today at 6 & 7 dpo.

Just for fun- What are your new year’s resolutions?: I turned 30 last week, so I have some goals related to that for 2015 — read 30 books, lose 30 pounds (starting Paleo again this weekend, it’s the one diet that’s ever really worked for me) and cook 30 successful recipes (I’m a horrible cook, trying to change that).

Good luck to everyone with their New Year BFPs!!!!
|| Ovulation Tracker

    Your age/partner’s age: 24/29
Baby #: 1

    Ovulation Date: 12/21-12/23 (not 100%)
POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: POAS date Jan 7 but I’ll probably do it Jan 5, 28 days
Cycles Trying: First month
BFP Plan: No real plan, as we got married in August but having our big wedding Jan 17 we decided to start trying now, just having fun with it though 🙂

I just stopped taking my birth control almost 2 months ago, I had a noraml cycle right away so I was very happy about that so thats another reason I’m not 100% on my ovulation date.

candy11: Thank you. I really need the positivity. I’ve sort of given up. (Although I’ve heard that most people succeed after giving up). What will make this month any different from the others? Luck I guess? Sorry to be a downer.

FreckledFox: I think you’re right, luck plays a key role. My cousin who already has two babies told me that it took her 6 months to get pregnant for the first one and only one try for the second one. Remember about 70% of couples will conceive in 6 months, so that’s the majority. You’re one of them. (Hugs)

FreckledFox: After awhile, we just got used to it, unfortunately. The worst is when I take a pregnancy test and it comes up positive and it’s actually a false positive (even had it on digital tests). Spoke with my new OB about that and she said that some people can produce antibodies that mess with pregnancy tests. This will be our last month trying without help, next month, Clomid.

SavannahJ051212: Oh my goodness what a cruel trick. I’m definitely more used to it than I was the second or third month, but I just can’t picture how I’ll be if it goes longer. My doctor said she’ll do testing at 6 months. The monthly wait is the worst for me. :/
