Yes! I searched everywhere for 5 by 5 pocketfolds that had a diagonal holder on the left of the inside and couldn’t find any anywhere for under $3 each! They were easy to make.

@missashley884:  It wasn’t so bad for me… I’ll make some quick paint pics to demonstrate how to do it…

@takemyhand:  OKAY! DIY tutorial super fast:

STEP ONE: Measure the paper to the size you need. I.E. For my square pocket fold, each side was 5 inches wide and 5 inches high. I had to double the width so I measured my paper to 5 x 10.

STEP TWO: Draw pencil lines (using a rular) where you need to cut. If you have a nice slide cutter (you can get one at michaels for cheap!) then you just need to cut at the measured lines.

STEP THREE: Hard part (unless you have a slide cutter with a scoring blade). Measure to the centre of the invitation (i.e. I measured 5 inches in) and score the middle of the cardstock so it will easily fold over. This part is now done!

STEP FOUR– the pocket fold flap. Look at the measurement of your invite panel where the pocketfold will sit and add 1/4 inch. Cut out.

STEP FIVE: Measure 1/4 inch in from the top and bottom of the invite (I cut a 5.25″ x 5.25″ square and measured 0.25″ in). SCORE a line so that it will easily fold over. You will also want to cut a diagonal line where the scored edges meet to make it fold flat.

STEP SIX: This is what your fold should sorta look like. For me, I used diagonal pocket folds, so I made a diagonal line from one scored corner to the next and cut. If you are going horizontal, vertical, etc, you would do something another way. Cut the line.

STEP SEVEN: Cut out your fold (it will look like above). To attach simply fold the flaps inwards. Roll some glue tape or double sided tape on the flaps and attach, carefully, to your invite.

TADA!

Hope this helped (and my paint skills weren’t too horrifying)
