For mine, I deducted a 1/4″ from each side depending on the layer, i.e., I deducted 1/2″ from the length and the width, so the pocketfold was 5″ x 7″, then the next layer was 4.75″ x 6.75″, then the top layer was 4.5″ x 6.5″.

I hope that helps 🙂

I wrote paperandmore and they gave me detailed instructions on how to cut all my inserts. If you send me your email, I will forward the information they gave me. Or you can email them yourself and tell them the pocketfold you like and how many inserts you want. They were pretty quick with responses. Good luck.

@His Lil SantosGirl: That would work. It would allow about a 1/4″ spacing on each side of the invite card and mat. That is amost the same as mine.

I ordered mine from cards and pockets too.  They have detailed descriptions for the size, but they use 4.5 x 6.5 invites with the mat being 4.75 x 6.75 (if you order pre-cut paper through them).  A smaller card with a larger mat should work fine though.

My only thought is that you should check how it looks with the final height of you enclosure cards (Reception info, rsvp etc).  I realized that when I decided not to have a mat, the tallest enclosure card didn’t line up with the top of the invitation and it irked me a bit.
