I put “The BLANK Family” on the envelope when I wanted them to know the kids were included.

@kathrynsmom: I am thinking about putting the individual names on the back of the pocketfold. I am not sure how I am going to do it in a way that’s neat and doesn’t take away from the look of the pocket fold though. 

Maybe you can write the names in on the RSVP card?

Inner envelopes are quickly becoming a thing of the past. Sure, people still use them, but I would be suspicious that no one is expecting them.

Like other bee’s said you can address the outer envelope to the family. This can be done formally Mr. & Mrs. John Smith & Family or informally The Smith Family.

Including everyone on the RSVP would also be helpful.
