Pockets are almost impossible unless there is significant fabric in the skirt of the dress to allow for them. With any fitted gown, either the outline of the pockets will show, or they will gap, or you wouldn’t be able to put anything (let alone your hands) in them, rather defeating the purpose. That said, though, I think that ballgowns can be amazing to show off a smaller waist and beautiful shoulders. You don’t need a gown that’s fitted all the way down to show off your amazing weight loss, IMO.

I’m all for dresses with pockets! Why do you need pockets for your wedding gown? What do you need to carry? If you need a hanky, give your Fiance one to keep in his jacket and he can give it to you. If you need your phone for your vows, have it printed or written and give that to the officiant or your Maid/Matron of Honor or your father to hold.

Best thing you can do is try on a bunch of dresses and ask a seamstress onsite if pockets can be added.

shortone88 :  as people mentioned in your last post, there’s a reason why you don’t find fitted gowns with pockets. It just doesn’t work. If your heart is set on pockets, you need something with a full skirt (so A line or ball gown).

I think you are going to have a very difficult time finding a more fitted gown with pockets.  This is the closest I could find to what you are describing.  It is by Gemy Maalouf’s 2015 collection.

I’ve personally never seen a fitted dress with pockets. Would you be able to maybe add a little pouch into the interior of the dress for your pump? Like I’m thinking maybe under the armpit area where it would be easily accessible?

I just came across this dress yesterday and got really excited about the pockets myself ☺️

If this isn’t your style it at least might give you an idea of how pockets could be added to another dress.

Ps. Well done on your weight loss! Amazing achievement! Xx

As PP’s said, you can’t realistically have a fitted dress with pockets. If you do find a fitted dress with pockets, the second you put something in the pocket it will look VERY weird and obvious.

I would instead consider doing something like having your BM’s carry clutches instead of bouquets and have your maid of honor hold your insulin pump. Get yourself a clutch as well and put it in your own clutch after the ceremony. You will never be too terribly far from your insulin pump during the reception and you don’t have to worry about finding a dress with pockets (which is few and far between as it is).
