My wedding dress had pockets &  I absolutely loved it! It was cool to have a place for my vows, lipstick, hanky etc. We didn’t have a bridal party really so no one to hold things for me. My dress was a ball gown but more a line. I’ve never been into the big ball gown look.

shortone88 :  I think pockets only work in a dress that uses structured fabrics like satin and has some volume in the skirt. The skirt fabric of that dress is too thin and pockets (plus their contents) would be visible and create lumps in the silhouette.

I have this dress (not my photo), it’s a flattering a-line gown but definitely not ballgown territory imho. The pockest were a big factor in choosing it!

janeblack : Ohhhh I’m drooling over these dresses right now!!

OP, I hope you are able to find a dress that suits your needs and is flattering! Don’t give up hope, I’m sure it’s  out there 🙂

NoItsBecky :  Im not diabetic myself, but my diabetic friends/family with insulin pumps have pumps hooked to their body, physically going in to their body. Like if someone else carried it, there would be a cord hanging between them.
