I actually bought the newer Polaroids with Zink technology and i ended up really liking iIt’s the film is a sticker so people can stick it wherever on a page and wrote next to i had originally planned for a more organized looking one where I would draw lines etc etc. but I didn’t have time and the freestyle look ended up looking really amazing. My guests were raving about it.

Go with the smaller, easier pictures.  You’ll thank yourself on the big day.

@bshepherd:  I bought it off Amazon: ( http://www.amazon.com/Polaroid-Instant-Digital-Printing-Technology/dp/B001RIYUJQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1360441184&sr=8-1&keywords=polaroid+zink+camera ) But at the time i bought it, it was around $250 (i think) not including film. I spent like $40 on film and have a lot left over. But later on this one came out ( http://www.amazon.com/Polaroid-Z2300-Digital-Instant-Camera/dp/B008GVXL1A/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1360441184&sr=8-14&keywords=polaroid+zink+camera ) and i think its cuter IMO.

The battery of the one I got goes out after 15-20 photos so i made sure i had it connected to an outlet at all times. Also.. dont forget to get a memory card like i did…   (- _-)  lol

The camera is a bit of an investment, yeah, but i love how my polaroid guestbook looks like. I also noticed that theres other Polaroid cameras such as this one (http://www.amazon.com/Polaroid-300-Instant-Camera-PIC-300B/dp/B003B2ITI4/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1360441184&sr=8-11&keywords=polaroid+zink+camera) which is more affordable, but this ones more like ur traditional polaroid but business card sized prints.

Here’s a photo of my guestbook:

I bought the new fujifilm instax polaroid – not the mini – and the pictures turned out great and a perfect size.    We had a Polaroid guest book and the camera was easy to use and fast and everyone loved it.

fujifilm instax 210 is the one with the best reviews, so that’s what I’m planning on getting.

@MsGosling510:  I loved your polaroid guestbook.. where did you get the album?  Everytime I search for scrapbook, its one that has the protective covers.

I like what you had.. simple.  I got the same zinc sheets so they should stick.. and so I don’t need any thing to carry it…

The instax is definitely going to be easier and more affordable and will totally work (mrs.gosling, yours turned out lovely)…

I voted to go with the larger, older film. If it’s in your budget–then yes, go for it. There’s just something so beautiful and distinctive about old polaroid film. It will be way more expensive for film but in my opinion, it would totally be worth it.

This was something we were considering for a while (the polaroid guestbook) until one of my friends offered up his photobooth for us to use. I was prepared to save for a while and buy it in bulk from costco.

You don’t mention if you already have the cameras or not but if you don’t there are places you can rent the cameras for a fraction of the price so you don’t have to buy them.

@MsGosling510:  I’ve been thinking of getting the polaroid z2300 to use to do a guestbook somewhat like yours, but I’ve been trying to think about how to make the battery life not be an issue.  You’re able to take pics & print while it’s charging? (that’d make a huge difference)

@Shkragoldfish:  Hey! I’m really sorry I got to you late! The camera I was using i had it connected to the adapter so I wouldn’t have to worry about charging it while the wedding was going on.
