Has anyone ever been to a pole dancing bachelorette party? I want to do something active but the things I would want to do aren’t things all the girls will do. And I’m not a big drinker so I don’t really want to bar hop. My Maid/Matron of Honor wants to know what I want to do.

I have! It was fun 🙂
We had a lady come in with her mobile pole, show us a few moves and then basically gave everyone a go…
It went down well with that specific crowd.

At my cousin’s bachelorette party we had a pole dancing instructor come to the house. It was really fun and I’m not normally into that kind of thing (I’m very shy). We were taking jello shots in between and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

How about an activity place, such as outdoor pursuits? Canoeing, climbing, zip wiring? Or go karting?
I am not comfortable in bars/club so this is the route I would take.

I have not, but my friends just did. I was on vacation so I couldn’t attend the bachelorette party. They said it was fun, but everyone needed to have a few drinks at the beginning to loosen up. Another thing to consider is if moms will be there (they were at this party) and some said it was slightly awkward.

If the pole school holding it is good, you can ask them to teach you more “sexy” or more “tricks/spins”. That way you can choose what you’d feel best with. I suggest dressing up for it.
I do pole dancing 3 times a week as my exercise and have for about 1.5 years. I LOVE it. It’s so much fun and you don’t realise how hard you are working until it is over. If you have any futher questions let me know!

We did this for a friend’s wedding. There was a dance studio in New Orleans that offered classes like this, and we did it as our beginning of the night activity. It was fun. I had bruises on the back of my legs for two weeks, otherwise though, very fun.

Pole dancing would be fun! It should be about you and not your friends, although it’s something a lot of girls would enjoy.
I don’t like strippers, I don’t like being seen as a ‘slutty’ girl, but pole dancing is fun! It’s becoming more of a sport now and can totally be classy.

I did a burlesque dance lesson followed by casual dinner for my bachelorette! It was awesome and everyone loved it!
I thought about pole dancing but I don’t have the muscle to do it properly so went for burlesque because it doesn’t require skills.

I’m so bummed…the weekend we were going to do the party seems to be a conflict for everyone. Only a few people can make it…even my Bridesmaid or Best Man can’t make it. So looks like pole dancing is out. But I am going to do it another time. Maybe my Maid/Matron of Honor and I can go take a class. Or we can do it after the wedding when everyone is done with their summer vacations.
