I’m trying it out next Sat at my gym and I’m curious if anyone has taken classes and has gotten a good workout from this. It sounds like fun, but right now fun won’t cut it – I need all the workouts I can queeze in between now and November!

Those classes are a blast and they seriously kick your butt. I remember the first day I just wanted to lay down in the floor right in the middle of the class room. They are amazing and they work muscles you dont think you have. I was sore for the first 2 weeks.

It’s a great workout. I used to attend classes at SFactor in NYC. Here is the link http://www.sfactor.com/. We started each class with a mat workout that helped to strengthen are core, our arms and shoulders, and our legs. Then we moved to learning and practicing pole tricks. And finally, we did a little dance routine and incorporate the pole tricks we had learned. We were able to bring in our own music too, so that was a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it.

I am obsessed with pole dancing. I tried it thinking it was going to be a fun way to work out… and now i’m a pole master! Do it- you’ll love it.

I almost did a post asking about Pole Dancing classes! I would LOVE to do these classes, they sound like a blast!! I’ve heard that you get a total and complete workout without even realizing it until AFTER the workout, and you have SO MUCH FUN while doing it…& not to mention you learn a little something for your man!! 🙂
