Hi Ladies.  I’m new to WeddingBee and this is my first post (YAY!!).  I am a Police Bride marrying a Paramedic Groom and we’re planning on having a cake topper with ourselves handcuffed together (maybe have a gun on my hip) and he’ll have a stethoscope around his neck.  When we enter our reception, I’m hoping to have police/ambulance sirens and blue and red lights going off πŸ™‚

I’m a deputy bride about to marry a police groom.

He didn’t want an overt amount of police stuff incorporated into our decorations. This will be our cake topper though: http://www.etsy.com/listing/90649962/police-agent-law-inforcement-custom?ref=sr_gallery_8&ga_search_query=police+cake+topper&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all

I’ll have the police bade on the bride changed to a star and no dogs. I’m pretty excited.

Another idea I forgot to mention.

Most of our wedding guests will be in the LE field. I’m attching a small gun holster to my garter belt so when the when men come up to catch it, they’ll get a little gift out of it. It was my MOH’s idea.

I am engaged to a police officer, i am planning on doing a boudoir session with his uniform shirt, langerie and his boxing gear because when we met he was a boxer. All these photos are gonna be put in an album and im going to give it to him as a gift on our wedding day. Note photographer knows about this gift so she will be ready to catch his reaction when he sees the album. Ladies if you are doing boudoir i suggest!

New to the Bee! πŸ™‚ Hi all,

@AquaRhapsody87: The holster garter is a super cute idea!

@Paperbagprincess14: Those photos are really sweet!

I’m marrying LE and more than half our guests will be LE/dispatcher/BP etc.  I like the idea of incorporating something but Fiance is not a fan of overly flaunting his job for the wedding.  It’s the whole avoiding the badge-bunny thing, and as a rule we don’t talk about his career outside the LE family since it leads to the inevitable idiot questions/requests.

I really wanted to incorporate something since his work inevitably is a huge part of our lives.

To those gals above (and their SO’s) who wear a badge, thank you so much for all you do!
