    I prefer the 2mm for aesthetics as well as strength. Going with a narrow band was not something I was open to for so many reasons, including the fact that getting an e-ring that accommodated a straight wedding band without a gap was a must for me.

    Is the stone the same size in both? The stone looks smaller in the second pic which is usually the opposite (usually the thinner band makes the stone appear larger). 

    I prefer a thicker band as long as the center stone can hold up to it. A stone smaller than say… 1ct (complete guess)may get lost on a larger band. Also finger size. The thinner band looks better on a smaller finger and vice versa.

    i think both rings look great, the band width compliments the center stone size in both.

    2mm is generally the thinnest you should go with pave for structural purposes.  Especially for a ring that will be worn daily.

    2mm is going to be stronger, and IMO still has a delicate look without being on the thinner side! I also think it compliments your hand better! So gorgeous!
