The only thing I ever posted about our wedding was a status about being close to going “bridezilla” on an un-named wedding vendor (who happened to be a fb friend). It worked, because like 10 min later I had an email from her with the stuff I needed to approve.

I’ve also posted some engagement pics, shower pics, and a couple countdowns, but that’s about it.

I got so sick of seeing people constantly posting about their weddings that I avoid doing it. I tink there have only been 2-3 occasions that I’ve posted about the wedding, and it’s only if I’m in a real bind and need help finding a vendor. E.g. one about two days ago asking for make up artist recommendations.

I only mentioned wedding planning once to ask for bartender recommendations and I didn’t mention the wedding. I plan on posting a status soon to say that while I would have loved to invite more people, it is a small affair…because I’d like to be able to say one or two things especially around the date.

I’ve had some friends recently get married that posted almost everyday about their weddings and I got pretty annoyed by it. I swore I wouldn’t be that bride. So, no, I’ve never posted anything.

Never. I just had a guest compliment my invitations and I was conflicted. I ended up saying thank you, but that is the only mention of my wedding.

Nope and I have a really small friendslist and I would say about 90 percent of them are going to be at the wedding. I have no issues with people who post some things here and there. But there are a few friends and family members who got me super annoyed and tired of their weddings before it even happened by constantly updating about it. I say leave it as a pleasant surprise for the guest they don’t need to know all the details until day of.

You guys are going to think I’m crazy, but I don’t even have a personal facebook.  I’m not a huge fan tbh.  So I never post any wedding related stuff on there 😉 lol

I post about my wedding occasionally on Facebook. As I have mentioned elsewhere, though, I created a facebook list called “Wedding” that includes ONLY people who are invited to the wedding – ensuring that only those who are invited see wedding-related statuses/updates. I live over an hour away from most family/friends, so I’ve found this is a good way to “include” them in wedding-related things while not being rude to people not invited… FI’s mom and other family members seem to like it.

I think you can go overkill with the wedding updates (nobody else ever cares about your wedding much as you), but I don’t see a problem with posting occasionally about it. I mean, it’s what’s going on in your life… people can just scroll on past it if it annoys them or if they are seriously annoyed they can hide my updates all together.

i don’t post a whole lot on facebook in general and have hardly posted anything at all about my wedding. mostly just pictures or wedding related youtube videos that i thought were funny.  i received a blank rsvp, so i did post on facebook in an effort to find out who sent it and i went on a little rant about why kids aren’t invited to my wedding, but that’s it.

I definitely do….my Future Sister-In-Law once got made at Fiance and siad “no one wants to read your facebook posts or emails about the wedding”…..so I started to post more …..(note, this was NOT the actual reason why she was mad, she was just being mean…I actually had only posted a few things and there was 1 email sent to let family know that we had booked out venue)….

I have a secret group that the bridal party are on…so I post some things on there …..I figure if people don’t want to see it they can either delete themselves from the group or unfriend me/hide my posts….

I don’t know if I had a single status update about the wedding, though I did find my photographer via fb by asking for personal recommedations.

Once in a great while. I say stuff like, busy working on invites. Or something like doing more printing for the wedding after work. Stuff like that.

I dont post any of my ideas on there either. 🙂

I rarely ever do. I think the only wedding related thing I posted was like ‘got our WEDDING BANDS today!’ because I was super excited 😉 hahah
