Though some bees go the replica route, it is a risky one. From what I’ve read, most bees who choose to wear a second dress for their reception do so because they want to be more comfortable. Though you seem to like dresses with a tight silhouette, this dress from Anthropologie would be really comfortable, and fit with your venue/reception; the sandals below (from Asos) would be an edgy complement to the dress and though high-heeled, the width of the heels provide comfort.

I have two different LOOKS, but not two different dresses. My dress has a detachable train sort of like this:
I’ll only be wearing the train for the ceremony and some photos, I will take it off for the reception.
My wedding is in summer and I had a lot of trouble finding one that I liked that was made with lightweight material that I wouldn’t die of heat exhaustion in. I ended up going the custom route.
I like the crop top dresss for your second dress 🙂

OMG I just saw that dress @ Anthropologie this weekend! But it didn’t look nearly as good as that picture! I love those shoes!!

Yes I’m having not 2, but 3 dresses at my wedding… 1) my mom’s wedding dress for the church 2) a red traditional chinese dress for the reception entrance 3) a short white reception dress to dance the night away : ) I figured since I wasn’t spending much on my ceremony dress, I could indulge in changing dresses during the night! and it’s a chinese tradition I’m happy to apply!

No way baby, I’ve been waiting my whole life to wear a wedding dress! I want to wear it as long as possible! The boning in mine is soft, so I should be okay. Plus years of Ukrainian dance costumes have prepared me for heat/discomfort lol.
Thats just me, though. Your reception dresses are all beautiful in their own way!

I’ll be in the same dress for the whole day. I loved it the instant I saw it and it cost a pretty penny, so I’m making sure I get as much wear out of it as possible lol.

Those dresses wouldn’t be appropriate for a wedding in my opinion, maybe if you were having it at a nightclub or strip joint?

I’m wearing just one. It’s expensive and gorgeous, and it would be devastating to me to only wear it for like 2 hours. Plus, the time it would take to change would take away from the fun!
Of those options, I like C best. B is a little too on the clubby side, and A looks a little cheaply made to me, sorry. Definitely don’t think it’s worth $6000.

No, I’m not rich. That’s my reason why. One dress is expensive enough for one day. I just hope I don’t get spilled on. I’m sure I will lol.

I spent so much more than I intended on my dress that I’m going to get my money’s worth out of it. No way am I changing.
