They look like foam wedges?  I think you’ll want something a bit more formal…

Also – black with navy is a no-no.

    How about something like this:

I’ve seen this done numerous times. No one will really be seeing your shoes and as far as the girls whatever you think looks good since it’s your vision of the day. There are bees who HATE flip flops at weddings and bees who LOVE flip flops at weddings. Personally, I’m neither here nor there on the topic, and I do think the bow on the sandal is cute.

If you google wedding wedge flip flops there will actually be flip flops with crystal embellishments made specifically for brides. I would especially especially check out Etsy!!!

I wore these sexy sneakers for the reception lol!

It was a beach wedding and we gave away some flip flops (also seen on the picture), so that people could be more comfortable if they wanted to!

I went with sandals that close around my ankles instead of flip flops for 2 reasons:

    – I don’t like the flip-flop SOUND as I’m walking down the aisle

    – I don’t like when the dress gets caught in between my foot and the flip flop in the back

I switched into these during most of the reception (because I knew I wouldn’t be able to dance for hours in my 5″ heels).  Nobody – not a single person – noticed my shoes.  They can’t see them under your dress, nobody’s looking anyhow, so go for it.  My Bridesmaids put on flip flops, as did many of my female guests (I had them in a basket near the dance floor).  Years ago I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man in my friend’s wedding and my feet hurt so bad I took off my shoes and went barefoot.  I think flip flops are better than that 🙂

@Leanne21:  oh okay, yeah… totally fine then!  Its just the foam ones tend to make that FWAP FWAP FWAP sound against the ground when you walk – which is obviously no problem for the reception, but for the ceremony, haha.

First off, I love your dress! Secondly, it’s your wedding, you can get away with anything you like!
