Been working a lot lately on putting together my wedding look. I’m getting married in the Willowby Penelope dress which is more romantic and less edgy than I thought I would go for. Because of this I find myself looking for something to do differently. I found this chiffon veil on BHLDN and can’t decide if it looks too much like a bedsheet on a head. Also not sure that it would go well with my dress since my dress is tulle. I’m attaching pictures of the veil, my dress, and the hairpiece I’m leaning toward. Would love your feedback!

If you like it, go for it.

I have never seen a chiffon veil but I think it would look like a bedsheet and cover the prettiness of the back of the dress

I don’t know what your veil budget is, but I have been lusting after this veil hard-core and since you mention chiffon and something a little different, check out this beaut: https://www.etsy.com/listing/272216208/dip-dyed-veil-silk-amalfi

So you can see it on a real human aka me

Your veil is supposed to appear light and airy, so chiffon veils work well with a crisp, opaque satin or crepe gown. I think it’s too visually dense for a tulle gown, personally.

if you want to do something edgy I think you should really do something different. I wouldnt really say the chiffon veil meets the edgy criteria.
why not try a juliet cap veil ( like kate moss?)

Pretty but not sure it would compliment the dress. Too ‘solid’ looking. I think the dress needs something more sheer and delicate.
