We met while working for a professional photographer…… it wasn’t even a thought when we got engaged. We took a few selfies and that was just fine!

Ours wasnt professional in that she doesn’t do it for work just a great hobby and as a friend did it for free.

And our main photo is a retake because his mum walked infront of the photographer right as he got down on one knee 😂

So imo a professional photographer is a waste of money in my eyes for a proposal they just dont go as planned. Also to staged in my opinion even though my photo  is technically 100% staged 😂

I demand one for the wedding though

My one and only request for my proposal was that it be 100% private. I didn’t want friends there, I didn’t want family there, and I didn’t want strangers. Public places were out. My Darling Husband is even more private than I am, and we are a very private couple, so he was thrilled haha. When I see pictures of peoples’ proposals (if they’re candid and genuine) sometimes I wish we had a photo of ours, but at the end of the day it was more important to me that that moment be intimate. I didn’t want a single other soul there besides my husband. When I see photos that seem contrived and clearly set-up for social media attention, I just think it’s silly and fake-seeming.
