Mine is a purple sapphire with black diamonds. My significant other designed it himself and it’s layered with meanings about us and our relationship, there’s even some sneaky Gallifreyian text. I wouldn’t have picked it (except for the purple sapphire that’s what I wanted) but I adore it, it’s very me and very us. I just got it Friday so don’t have a ton of amazing pictures of it yet.

I went with moissanite for ethical/personal reasons and so glad I did, I’m in love! I got a 1.87 ct yellow moissy. I had a local jewler create my ring and I found a loose stone through Etsy. She shipped my item the next day and I received the stone three days later, got it tested and just received it on Valentine’s Day !

Some moissanites and some diamonds 🙂
Engagement Ring and 1/2 eternity straight baguette bands are moissy. Princess cut band is all diamonds. The diamonds I wear have all been passed down. The ring was made from my mom’s engagement ring, her diamond solitaire is now in a pendant.
Such beautiful rings on this post. I appreciate all stones and do love the fact that alternative stones are used for e-rings.

I honestly can not tell the difference between the moissanite and the diamonds. Sometimes I look at a ring and think oh is that a moissanite, and then I see it’s a diamond or vice versa.

rachie5478 : I was just thinking exactly the same!

Moissanite, D VVS1 Forever One. Pictures don’t do it justice, I really need to get a professional to take pictures of it.
