I just got a new wedding band (actually, this is the FOURTH new band I have purchased – I returned the other three). And I think I am going to keep this one! My engagement ring is rose-cut, so the flat bottom sits flush with my finger. We had a custom, curved, bezel-set diamond band made to follow the shape of the stone, but that ring was super uncomfortable to wear!
I just received this wedding band from James Allen, and I thought I wouldn’t like the gap, but I LOVE it! What do you bees think? Is it too mismatched?
Also, I’ve been super sick this week and would LOVE TO SEE YOUR RINGS! PLEASE SHARE AND CHEER ME UP!

I have a gap and dont mind it. I dont like the look of curved bands, and I like to stack.
I think yours looks great!

My ering is cathedral set so any band I buy will sit flush but I don’t mind a gap at all! I swoon over your ring every time I see it on here so I don’t think any band could look bad. Plus with the new band you have the option of stacking or wearing it alone if you feel like it where your curved and would look awkward alone.

WOWZA! Your set is so unique, yet so aesthetically pleasing! Absolutely love both bands with your e-ring. Great job!

Love your rings! I prefer the new set with the gap, its gorgeous! It looks more original to me and less ‘matchy’. My rings have a gap though so im biased.

I didnt like a gap with my ring, but I like a lot of sets on here with a gap!

Both those bands are really pretty, but comfort is everything so I’m glad your new one works! It’s really nice to have a wedding band that you can wear on its own, too.
I think a bit of a gap can help the band stand out (esp if both rings have similar metal or pave) so I like it. I didn’t want a big gap in case the rings got tilted or uncomfortable, but I love the tiny gap on my set:

did you by chance get your ring from Lexluxe on etsy? I love her salt and pepper diamonds!

My set has a small gap and I prefer it that way for 2 reasons. First because my band matches my ering and the gap helps differentiate the 2 rings. Also, I plan to stack and I just feel stacks look better with a gap.
Your set is fabulously unique! Rock that gap girl!

For me it was either a gap, a super high-set stone, or a curved band. I chose a gap 🙂

I love your set! Especially the curved band. So unique!
My setting is super detailed so it was important to me that I get the matching band, so no gap here.

Gap and no gap!
I had a gap with my engagement ring but I recently just designed a new ring to go with my wedding band set flush made of sapphire since my amethyst engagement ring is quite fragile for everyday wear.
Ering with the wedding band when I first received it in the mail. It has stones on one side and engraving on the other.
New sapphire ring to go with my wedding band with no gap. Both made by David Klass.

I really like your new wedding band! They’re not matchy-matchy, and for whatever reason, it works. And if you ever want to wear your wedding band solo, the one you have will look so much better than the curved band by itself. Good choice!

I have a small gap and didn’t like it at first but I think it’s growing on me! I don’t think any band that wasn’t curved would sit flush and I don’t want a curved band for myself.
