Just a small gap for me as my e-ring is low set and I didn’t want a curved band. I like the look of 2 distinct bands but I guess everyone is different 🙂

vertabella :  I love them both! Your old band has a vintage feel while your new band feels more modern to me. I would love to mix things up! So pretty, bee. Congratulations! Here is mine; very mismatched, but I love how different they are!

croh78 :  I also had a custom E ring made but had a great experience! What happened with yours?!

My Darling Husband got me a solitaire and I got a curved band that had a gap originally and it was fine but I liked it less and less.. Now I wear my grandmother’s old engagement ring with my wedding band and they miraculously fit perfectly flush regardless of the fact that they weren’t made for each other originally! My Darling Husband was supposed to propose to me with this family heirloom but he ended up foregoing asking my parents for permission and so they had no opportunity to offer it before he bought me a new one himself, but then my mother gave me the family heirloom ring for my 21st birthday.

I have a gap, which I truly don’t mind. I think it helps because the gap is even on each side.

If I just had the one wedding band only, then I do believe that the gap would drive me mad. laughing

    Sorry the pic is rubbish

I love a gap and mismarched look. This is my upgrade… I just got it a month ago.

My previous set had no gap and I felt like I hated how thick the band appeared because both were blending together. Now I purposely chose a smaller band and for them to be different and have a gap, they both get to have their own spotlight and I love it so so much

I just wanted to join, lol.

I’m not married yet, but my fiancé got my band when he bought my e-ring, so I already have it! Sometimes I put it on for fun…haha.

I don’t technically have a gap but there’s some breathing room with how they fit together I guess?

I usually don’t like gaps, but with yours I prefer the new band! Beautiful ring, bee!

no gap, my engagement ring is a cathedral setting so the band sits right up next to it can’t wait to be able to wear the set!

Oh, glad to see this thread revived!

I didn’t like the curved band that was designed to sit flush against the basket on my e-ring; I’ve never been a fan of the curved look and I didn’t want to get my rings soldered together. The designer of the e-ring is really good about customizations, so I had my current band designed instead. I love the gap!
