I prefer a solitaire over one carat for engagement rings (visually) OR something like a 3 or 5 stone band with smaller diamonds that is more dainty! I think the main thing is committing to the ‘look’ that you’re going for and not putting a huge stone on a super thin band (looks unstable) or a teeny stone in a really thick band (stone gets lost visually). So either big or dainty can be beautiful depending upon how it is styled.

Prefer big rings. I love sparkly clear stone jewelry a lot. & I wouldn’t want to wear a RHR that’s bigger than my e-ring. So I am all for a big e-ring!!
I’m also not super heavy into the diamond industry thing, but definitely appreciate them and other clear gemstones, like moissanite and Amora Gems. Those are superior in my opinion for what I like in a diamond (bold color flashes, light refraction, perfect cuts, colorless stone, no inclusions, etc).
Stoked to be able to get what I’ve always wanted for way less than what it’d cost traditionally. I’d rather put that money into our second home and investments.
Weddingbee introduced me to a whole new world of gemstones. 🙂
