Our jeweler told us that sleeping in the ring is bad for the prongs and increases the chances of losing a side stone, so I have never slept in my ring.  I can’t imagine sleeping in it now.

Mine never comes off! For the few times it does, it is in its box, but since I have had it it has only been twice.

I sleep with my e-ring on. I’ve never had a problem with it catching or scratching, and it sits up pretty high. A friend with a princess cut (what I have) told me to be careful because princesses snag on everything, but I’ve never had mine snag? I do take it off when cleaning/showering/washing my face/doing my hair, though.

I do not sleep, shower, clean, or cook with my e-ring on…I keep it in it’s little velvet box whenever it’s not on my hand, and I feel like that will help preserve it and keep it new. I once fell asleep and Fiance woke me up to ask if I was going to take off my ring..he doesn’t like the idea of me sleeping with it on either. The paranoia in me thinks I could wake up with the center diamond MIA, from having caught on a sheet or pillow or something.

I can’t stand taking it off, so I wear it all of the time.  The one exception is when I play sports.  If it’s individual, like swimming, then I keep it on, but if I’m doing anything that involves throwing a ball or other people, I remove it for their safety and mine.

Mine stays on unless I shower, swim, do dishes, cook, or something else where my hands will get dirty.

I don’t sleep with any jewelry on. And my fingers swell up when I sleep. I really don’t want to see what would happen if I went through the whole night with my engagement ring on. I just bought a ceramic plate on Etsy with our initials on it for my ring at night so I can stop putting it back in it’s box at night 🙂

If I never take it off it can’t get lost.  So, it never comes off.

I sleep with mine on most of the time. There have been a few times where I’ve forgotten to put it on after I’ve gotten out of the shower, but that’s about it. I don’t wear it while I’m cooking either, or cleaning, if I’m using chemicals.

My band and e-ring are soldered together, and the e-ring has a pretty high setting, so with that said no, I definitely do not wear my rings to bed.  I only wear them when I’m out of the house.

I sleep, work etc. with mine. The only time my rings come off is if I am washing my face and applying moisturizer or lotion after a shower/pre-shower, gardening or working with chemicals.

Otherwise I have a pair of playtex gloves for dishes and dirty work.

I only take mine off when I’m cleaning them, doing something messy, or when I’m using bleach. Otherwish, they’re always on–even when I’m sleeping.  I know I’ve read on different websites that you should take them off when you’re sleeping so they don’t get caught in the sheets, but if the prongs are so weak that they can’t handle being rubbed against a sheet, then to me they aren’t strong enough to wear at any time.  Besides, if the stone is going to fall out, I’d rather have it fall out in our bed where I’m more likely to be able to find it than to have it fall out some where else.

I wear my rings all the time, they almost never come off, except once in a while for cleaning.
