I love this ring, I would love to own it as my engagement ring. I have looked at hundreds as I know many other women here have. This one fits pretty much all of the characteristics I desire; a thicker halo/floral cluster halo and the setting that allows a wedding band to sit flush. I’m looking for opinions though as to whether this looks elegant or childish!
Thank you for your input!

If you love it and want to wear it, what does it matter what anyone thinks about it?
There is always going to be that ONE person who is rude and will say something negative about your ring, but understand it could happen no matter what ring you have on your finger. If you love it, wear it proudly!
But since you ask, no, I don’t think it looks juvenile.

I agree, I won’t let other peoples opinions determine whether I choose this one or not! I am just cimply curious 🙂 at this point I am almost certain that I choose this one!

If you like it, go for it! I never care what other’s think and as mentioned above, someone will always judge! Screw them, and be happy. Live for you, don’t put anything before your own happiness.

Not at all! It’s a beautiful ring! Actually reminds me of the one Meg Ryan initially got in Sleepless in Seattle. Very classic and romantic!

My friend has a ring like this, custom made after a vintage Edwardian ring. It’s beautiful! I might have a pic. Boom:
you cant care about the opinions of others, it’s about the one you love!

There is a bee that has a very similar ring but in rose gold. I love the floral type halos, not juvenile at all but very feminine. They have somewhat of a vintage look in my opinion.

thanks for your input ladies! 🙂
wow that’s gorgeous! Have you any idea if it costs a lot more to have a ring designed from scratch and if most jewelers do these custom designs or would I have to track a designer down? Thanks in advance!

I LOVE that style ring, as a matter of fact I want one just like that.

I love flowery rings! If it wouldn’t be for the fact that My Boyfriend or Best Friend hates them i could have consider getting one for myself! 😜 maybe for My right hand lol

I love floral halos and was CONVINCED I would get one, until I went ring shopping with the Fiance. I tried a bunch on but they sadly did end up looking a little childish on my hand…they were cute, but not what I wanted, which really surprised me. I would suggest finding a jeweler and trying one on to make sure.

I don’t know if you’ve seen mine (if you’ve spent any time on here you probably have haha!) but it’s relatively similar. Mine is a bit more flower-shaped though. Anyway, I love love love mine, and no one has even hinted that it’s juvenile. Everyone just says that it’s beautiful and so me. And this shape was really common during Edwardian times, so it’s technically one of the more traditional engagement ring shapes 😉
I’m adding a custom made diamond band (because my setting makes any other ring sitting flush impossible), and this is what my set (that I get to wear in 17 days!!) will look like:

I think it is a beautiful ring and if you really like it, then rock it with pride!
