No, it’s very pretty, and loving it is all that matters. I ended up with a wedding band that is the exact opposite of what I thought I wanted. I tried on dozens (literally), and as soon as I tried it on it felt perfect. I didn’t want to take it off. I went back and forth a bit, and ultimately decided to go with what I felt was right, and I love it.

I did consider whether it’s a style I’ll still love in 50 years. I decided yes.

tolkenbee:  I don’t know if I’ve ever told you this but your ring is one of my favorite on the Bee! I drool every time I see you posting pics of it. Would you mind sharing the specs and your ring size? πŸ™‚

Soon2ElopeBee:  Thanks πŸ™‚ I don’t know a lot about my ring, but I know the flower cluster is 1ctw (or possibly a bit bigger), it sits in an 18 ct white gold setting (with gorgeous petals underneath), and the diamonds are VS2 or better clarity and I or better colour, and brilliant cut.

The wedding band is custom made, 0.3ctw brilliant cut diamonds (I believe 12 of them) in a 2 mm wide 18ct white gold setting.

The engagement ring is from Costco, so the certificate they provided doesn’t list the exactspecifics, but I don’t really care πŸ™‚

ETA: The ring is a UK K1/2 which I think is 5.75 US, but my finger is slightly smaller, so it spins a bit in the winter, but fits well in the summer when I’m swollen.

Soon2ElopeBee: All I know about the size of the flower diamonds is that the one in the middle is slightly larger πŸ˜› Maybe I should measure them, haha πŸ™‚

I love it! Flower rings for engagement rings are so perfect. I definitely don’t see them as child-like, but if others do then totally embrace it. Nothing wrong with being youthful!

It’s very similar to my ring, which I think is elegant with a vintage style, as is yours!  You should get exactly what you want.
