Bumble. I had taken a break from online dating, but got bored one night working late and re-activated it. We talked from 10 until midnight, and then I had to stay until 2am to finish my work. We met up a couple days after that πŸ™‚

kiraleann :  omg my story is so similar.

Met on a skeezy dating site for hook ups, both busy with work and done with the dating scene. Wedding is in August, couldn’t be happier. Haha. The old saying: give up, stop trying, and then you find them.

    sbl99 :

     Congrats! πŸ™‚

It is so crazy, the day we got engaged he confessed to me that he had never intended to have more than one night with me and I just found it hilarious because I had been holding onto that same secret.

I don’t think we will ever let our families know the truth behind our meeting though, lol

kiraleann :  Uhhhh yeah Fiance was the same. Apparently after our first date (where ironically, we went home separately) he though “yeah, i’d bang her” and never intending to further it.

Haha we have told no one how we met. Conveniently, a colleague of mine at the time, used to work with Fiance, and that’s the party line we’ve followed since the day we became serious.

“How’d you meet?” “Oh, Paul introduced us…”

    *quickly changes subject*

Paul is not invited to the wedding….haha

Primarily online… we had mutual friends. He friend requested me. I saw we had many friends in common as well as interests, I accepted (which I never do)… and it grew from there. Fast n furious. Lol

At the gym! We had been secretly eyeballing each other for about a month and he eventually got the nerve to come talk to me. 3 years later, we have been married for one year and are still are flirting with each other in the gym ❀️😍

londongirl1988 :  We met on Match.com about a month after I moved to a brand new city where I knew nobody. He’d been on various other dating websites up until that point and he says that joining Match on a free one-week trial was his last hail mary, otherwise he was going to give up looking for someone for a few years. I hadn’t been in a serious relationship or on dating websites for 3 years, but I signed up for a 6 month membership (I didn’t know free trials were a thing) and we met on the second day of joining. I always tell him he was worth the $80 I paid for the 6 months, lol!

We met on tinder. Had a mutual friend (my friends bf), met two weeks after. Now 2,5 years in we haven’t been apart more than a few days since we met ❀️ And eight months ago we had our first baby ❀️ We bought the ring, it will arrive in a few weeks and then he will surprise me with a proposal ❀️

On an online dating app…AKA Tinder, out of all places. Heh. πŸ˜› Which is quite funny, considering I was struggling to meet someone with other online dating sites for 4 years. And then just two months after joining, I meet the man of my dreams. He was definitely worth the wait!

On a dance floor in Las Vegas! I was on a girls trip, he was on a guys trip. He walked up to me while I was dancing with my girlfriends and asked if I would like to have a drink with him. We started chatting and figured out we lived just a mile from one another in San Francisco! 3 years later, we are married. The friend I was dancing with when we met was our officiant πŸ™‚
