I have heard that many people have zero symptoms the month they got their BFP, while others had typical pregnancy symptoms, and others who say they swore AF was coming. I know every pregnancy and person is different, but I just wanted to get an idea of what the “norm” was. Sooo…what did you experience?

I just had sore nipples (not breasts). I should add that I never got any symptoms before AF either.

For me, I had a notable lack of PMS symptoms. My boobs were not as sore as normal and I wasn’t as moody. I felt like I was coming down with a cold for the flu and even had an earache and was stuffy. I had a bit of an upset stomach, which I thought was from post nasal drip. I went to the clinic and was told I was fine, which was so weird to me because I didn’t feel fine. By the end of the next week I had another day of being SUPER naseous and then had a super sense of smell and that is what made me question if I had a BFP waiting for me, which I most certainly did when I tested the next morning. The sore boob thing didn’t come until about 8 weeks for me, but I certainly felt nauseous and exhausted pretty early on. My first symptom, the fatigue and phantom cold, showed up within a few days of ovulation. So much earlier than I ever expected!

This is way too much Too Much Information…
The only strange thing that actually happened to my body, my bfp was very confusing and late, was I had a thick yellow discharge. I actually thought that maybe AF was late because I had an infection, but nope I was preggers.

Too Much Information, but diarrhea was my first clue.

I had raging sore breasts and cramps. My first indication that I might be pregnant was the implantation spot. I kind of thought it was a mythical thing since women especially here constantly ask about any abnormal spotting during their cycle. I got my spot of blood on a Monday and tested on a Wednesday to a faint positive. By Saturday, it was pretty obvious that we conceived.

I was super tired, had sore nipples, and had abdominal cramping days before I usually got my period which was strange. The cramping lasted for almost 2 weeks after my BFP.

I felt like I have full blown PMS. It seemed like the symtoms were are little early but it was the same as every other month. However a few days before AF was scheduled to arrive I woke up with the hunry horrors and then got terrible heartburn after eating pizza at work, and I never had heartburn before. So I went home that night and took a test.
My boobs were never sore and I didn’t have a hightened sense of smell.

I got my BFP on a Friday at 13dpo. The only symptom I felt was 3 strange cramps on 12dpo, and I never cramp before my period. Looking back, I think I was fatigued the whole week, because I was falling asleep around 8:30, but it was also my first week of morning (5:15am) workouts at the gym. I felt fine during the day but just got tired earlier. My boobs were definitely sore, but I have them every month…it’s supposedly from the progesterone increase.

Didn’t have many symptoms prior to BFP since I tested positive at 10dpo. But I did have food aversions starting the day before – protein like chicken and hard boiled eggs made me gag and some foods just tasted different/gross. That’s the only symptom that hcg gave me early on, rather than just the normal end of cycle progesterone symptoms.

I had major cramps 7dpo and was exhausted for 3 days…that’s it.

thanks everyone for voting and for your comments!! I guess I will just wait 4 more days and see…

I voted for other because although I had sore boobs I’m now nine weeks and I still haven’t had any morning sickness, bad fatigue or that ultra sense of smell.

Before I took a pregnancy test, I had period cramps for 4 or 5 days. I thought it was weird that my period wasn’t coming, cuz I usually only have cramps for 1 day before I get my period. The day I tested I wanted to barf when I smelled coffee–I think that’s really what made me test.

I’m TTC. I have a question for those who got cramping. Did it feel like period cramps? or like Ovulation type cramps? (like that pulling, pressure in one spot). Thank you.
