hi lovely bees! Sorry not wedding related but I figure I ask you ladies… We are in the process of moving and going into a new home 🙂 and I’m in a process of looking for cute dinning tables and chairs, so far I noticed I’ve been into white!! So I found a white ikea table and found these other white chairs at Ross, am I’m thinking if the two would even go together well? What do you all think? I love the way the chairs have that vintage vibe.. Let me know 🙂 does it go well together, the white chair I want is above and the below pic is the table I’m going for.. The chair is a metal chair.

Love the chairs! I think I have used the same kind, are they made of metal? They may not be the most comfortable during a long meal and a bit unpleasant in the winter. Chair pads can help but the back was also uncomfortable. Sorry.

The chairs do look uncomfortable and like they are supposed to be outdoors. They remind me of bistro sets for the garden. Could you get white painted wooden chairs with seat pads or cushions?

theatrejulia : yes metal.
northbynorthwest : thanks for your advice, I guess I was inspired when I saw this pic on Pinterest. 😁

I think the tiny holes in the seat make them look like outside chairs, but other than that they look fine. The black looks more formal especially when used with the decor in the picture.

It may look okay but have to echo PPs–I’ve sat in those chairs and they are not comfortable.

The white “Tolix” chairs look cool and funky. However it all looks too white and stark with a white table too. Maybe consider a light coloured timber table as pictured to give you that vintage vibe.

They do match and look okay together, but metal chairs indoors strike me as odd – and uncomfortable, especially if you’ll be eating most of your meals there.

believerbeex3 : I find those chairs uncomfy but I wouldn’t say they don’t go.
I would check to see what height you’d be sat at the table with though – that’s the most important thing! Don’t want the table at your hips or chest lol

An alternative chair would be the Tobias chair from Ikea. They are super comfortable.
Ikea has lots of white chairs if you prefer to stick with that. They are likely much more comfortable than the metal chairs.

I think white chairs with a white table is too much white. I’d get a table with a color if you are sold on the white chairs. I agree that these chairs might not be very comfortable and wouldn’t want them for every day dining.

The chairs remind me of patio furniture :/ sorry bee!

I love those chairs! But I agree that you should go with a something like a wood tone for your table. Matching two different whites can be tough and the difference will look pretty stark if one if a little off since they will be right next to each other.
