Same as with the girl names poll, Hubby and I are having a *really* hard time agreeing on boy names. Two on the list I LOVE but he just likes, two on the list he LOVES but I just like, and two we both just like. I swear we’ve gone through baby books and these are the only 6 where one of us wasn’t an absolute no. We have very different taste in boys names (he likes classic names, I like unpopular but easy to pronounce and spell).
Miiddle name will definitely be Robert after my grandfather, and last name starts with an F and is very common.
HALP!

I love the name Zachary and think that sounds great with the middle name Robert. I’m sorry you guys are having trouble finding boys names you can agree on. Which are the two names that you both like? Do you think it is possible that either of those names will grow on you in the future?

@Jenn – My husband likes Charles and William. I do like Charles and think Charles Robert would be a nice name, I just don’t LOVE it.
I LOVE Hudson but he is not big on it. I also love Logan and Gavin and names like that, and he wouldn’t go for those either. I’ve never met another Hudson but I think it sounds kind of noble, and its easy to pronounce and spell.
The other option is Carter. It’s becoming more popular now so I’m not too sure on it, but it’s my maiden name and I have a lot of attachment to it. My only worry is that my grandpa is Robert Carter, so Carter Robert F— just sounds kind of funny to me in my head.
SO much easier to make a baby than name one 😉

Out of all those options you just listed, I like Carter! I think your grandfather would love that his name is almost the same (but backwards). 🙂

I really like Carter. I voted for Hudson–it was on my boy list but Hubby used his veto power. 🙁 heehee

I voted for William, mostly because I love Will as the nickname and it is distinguished. However, reading your comments I love Carter! And it sounds great with Robert. Good luck!
