This time around, I decided I wanted a classic soiltare. I went with a 4.04ct round brillant diamond solitare. I don’t think there’s a certain average size where I live. I see all sizes.

I have a sapphire that is 2.3 carats. I don’t know the diamond equivalent.

Most of my close friends who are engaged/married have around 1 carat.

baileybagels :  This is so interesting to see, I agree that the bee seems to be a bit more on the affluent side. My center stone is .90ct and is a cushion so it faces up smaller, looks similar to a coworkers .80ct round center stone. Our rings are not really common, I’d say around .50ct with a halo is the norm for my age range in this area. 20181006_104858 (2)

diamondfox :  If it’s a question of finger coverage wouldn’t it be more reasonable to ask that rather than the diamond equivalent weight of the center stone? Then a bezel or halo would be relevant.

I have a 1.08 cushion center. I currently live in a midsize city in west TX and I would say on average I see a lot of clusters and center stones from .25 -.5 carats.

baileybagels :  thank you! The inner halo is rose gold and the rest

is white gold. I have a hard time taking a picture where you can really see the “rosiness”
