Mine is fairly typical of what I see around me. It’s a .47 carat diamond with a halo. I don’t generally see bigger centre stones unless I’m in the city.

Mine is a 2.5 ct. princess diamond. I think it’s slightly bigger than average in my area, but I see bigger from time to time.

baileybagels :  thanks! Dealing with Lightbox was pretty straightforward. I ordered a 2 stone pendant. They don’t have any white round cut diamonds bigger than 7/8 (.9 approximately) carats, except for a 1 carat pendant with a hole drilled into it, which I expect is to prevent people from having it reset. The stones are not certified, but they are really nice to my eyes, and you can’t beat the price ($900 for a 1 carat diamond, including setting). I had mine reset into a ring that I already had by a local jeweler, who was able to swap out the existing moissanite and reset it into the pendant, so I still wear that. It was a perfect fit, a 6mm C&C F1.

I have a 1ct. I have small fingers. My ring size is a 5. I sometimes wish I would have gone with a slightly smaller stone because it can feel like a lot of bling. I was counting on shrinkage but it never happened lol.

baileybagels :  Hi!laughing My center stone is 1.85 carats (size 4 finger). I live in coastal southern california, and my ring size seems slightly above average for the area. Though I will say, a lot of the older women here (I am in my twenties) have some pretty substantal rings. And compared to my friends/family, my ring is on the larger side.

Mine is a 10*6.5 (2ct DEW) moissanite on a size 9 finger. My ring is really unique for where I live for a couple of reasons:

    1. Pear center stones are not common at all. Most people who comment on my ring will say it’s the first time they’ve seen a pear center stone in person.

    2. It’s a solitaire. Most people around here actually have cluster rings, 3-stones, or halos so I actually hear that my ring looks smaller than what I say.

    Hi 👋🏽!

My center stone is a 1.12 emerald cut champagne diamond on a gold band. It’s not a solitaire but very close as my side stones are dainty and I didn’t want a pave band or halo. I LOVE my ring because I haven’t seen anything like it. I went to a local jeweler who sources almost anything but white diamonds. I’m in the Southern California area and there aren’t many women who wear colored stones or colored diamonds – at least in my circle of friends minus 1 – she has a beautiful Montana sapphire. Id say our rings collectively range from 1 to 3 carats. I do have smaller fingers, 3.5 to 4, so it looks bigger when I have it on. I wouldn’t have it like any other way!

I have a 1.3 carat solitaire, which is probably on the smaller side in my friend group and area. Most people have probably 1.75-2.25 carat center stones. I live in DC for reference!

My ring is 0.5 carat and perfect for me. In my area, anything goes really!
