I gave my 7 bridesmaids and Maid/Matron of Honor a Swarovski necklace. I also gave my Maid/Matron of Honor a Tiffany bead bracelet.

I got my girls Gigi bags with their initials and a robe to get ready in.

I haven’t bought mine yet, but I’m going to guess under $50. I saw some monogrammed robes on Etsy I like, and maybe one other small thing.

xstitchbride425:  Depends on what you consider gifting?

I am paying for their hair/makeup, and I’m taking them to get massages. They are also getting cash when the groom “bribes” them in the morning (cultural traditions).

I don’t think there’s a set amount – it’s really up to you and what you can afford. It’s the though that counts!

I live in the NYC area. I spent about $200 on each girl. I had 6. I think what you spend is relative to your income and budget that you can afford. I got them gifts like I would for their birthdays. They were great. They threw me a beautiful shower and also we went away for my bachelorette.

I was in a wedding in 2013 and all I got was a keychain so I dont think there’s a set amount. She bought me what she could afford.

ETA: I paid for their makeup also but in my area I dont think that’s a part of their gift. Hair/makeup for your event isnt a gift IMO.

I’m spending between 50 and 100. Got them a bag with their names on them and a “winter cozy kit” including a pair of homemade wool socks, personalized mug and local coffee and tea. I’m getting them a gift card for something as well although that’s undecided lol.

xstitchbride425:  I agree with PPs that there isn’t a set amount. It depends on what you want to get and what your budget is.

I spent roughly $50-$70 per person.

Each girl is getting a cashmere pashmina (got them bulk for about $70 a piece) since it is likely to be chilly. I’m also paying for hair and make-up, although since the pashmina and h/m-u are specifically for the wedding, I am also gifting each girl with $40-50 worth of individualized beauty products.

I bought matching silk robes for my bridesmaids and have just ordered some personalised compact mirrors. Looking to add one more thing to their little gift bags…

I also bought their dresses (Pretty common in the UK)

I spent about $140 per bridesmaid, and $70 extra on my Maid/Matron of Honor. This included their dresses, which were $100 each.
