OK, so I guess me and my fi are in a bit of sticker shock with the cost of the wedding bands. Basically my wedding band will end up costing MORE than my e-ring setting (not including the diamond). My FI’s will end up costing A LOT more than my band. Both are platinum bands, mine with tiny pave diamonds, his just platinum. Fi wanted me to poll the hive to find out what all of you spent/ are spending.

I don’t know why my <$3,000 option isn’t showing on the poll =(

Ours were 1300 total so I couldn’t vote!!

I have a cluster band with 1c tcw for about $600 from a local jeweler and FH got a tungsten for $46 on overstock.
I would deff check out overstock the prices are amazing! We would have gotten min there too but their selcetion for yellow gold sucks

We’re getting simple white gold rings so less than $250 together. Not anywhere close to your ranges!

i am just using my engagment ring bc I love it so much. I bought his gold band for 500 i think. He just wanted a plain comfort fit band. When we upgrade in the future he will get a platnum but I could not afford that at the time.

Our bands were very inexpensive. DH’s band is Tungsten (which gives it kind of a high-tech look that suits his slightly nerdy personality, we thought) and was $130. I was looking for an all metal band with no diamonds, which was SO HARD to find, so I ended up ordering a palladium band online and it was $110. I love both of our bands!

Mine was made by a very good local jeweler and cost only $1800. It’s platinum with diamonds on the top half, a little over a half carat I believe. His is a basic white gold band with some kind of band/etching on the edge. It was around $700. I think you could absolutely find something more reasonably priced. Less than $3K should definately be a poll option!! I’m sure it would be the most common.

Definitely, check Overstock you should be able to purchase both platinum rings for under 1,000. I think even at Zales you can find good prices.

His: white gold, custom design $750
Mine: white gold (recycled), custom etching $675

You don’t have options for $1000 and/or under. I got two solid rose gold bands and FH got a comfort fit flat band thats Palladium.
If you want the total of all rings, oh thats another story

🙁 ours will be less then 1000-1200, so I couldn’t vote either…

We got ours from overstock.com. We got exactly what we wanted (which were simple, plain gold bands) at just under $250 for both rings.

Count me among the group who couldn’t vote. Ours cost $850 total.
FI’s ring is a tungsten band from Titanium Kay. Cost $100
We got my ring at a local jeweler for $750. It is white gold with 14 diamonds in the band.
