We had a membership a few years ago and I let it expire, I’d overspend/ overstock on things I didn’t need or would end up expiring because it got shoved to the back of an overstocked pantry/ bottom of an overstocked freezer. Leaning toward minimalizing, too much stuff at Costco is mega-sized.

With the Costco executive you would have to spend more than 5000 a year to get the membership money back. My house hold of 4 adults and a kid easily get more than that back. But my parents usually only pump gas at Costco. We also have the Costco credit card which gives up to 2-5 percent back on purchases. It worth it if you really need to spend that much.
