It's a little sexy, but in a classy way

    Too sexy for a wedding!

I’m also doing a Catholic wedding. My church is super laid back, but double-check to make sure there isn’t a dress code. I have heard horror stories of obnoxious modesty police at churches making bridesmaids wear ugly cover-ups

ETA: I love the dress and I don’t think it’s too sexy. It’s just right. It will look great with black dresses on the other girls.

Wow, she looks amazing in it! However, I tend to lean more conservative for wedding attire and personally think it’s a little too sexy. I don’t think it’s the lace but the amount of cleavage which is a tad much for me. I also think the pattern is putting even more emphasis on her chest, whereas a solid black top portion would minimize it a little more. But she looks gorgeous and if you both feel comfortable with it do it!

I don’t think it’s too sexy.  I do think that the way the pattern on the top is designed makes her look like a walking boob.  I know, walking boob syndrome is horrible for those who are chest blessed.  My sister bought a corset to help with hers at my wedding (her choice).  On this dress, there is no point where breasts end and waist begins and I find that really unflattering.  I’d keep looking.

Depends on the church. My sister’s wedding was in a Catholic church & there’s no way her priest would have been ok with this dress.

I don’t think it’s too sexy, but I do think it is not very flattering.

Idk I think she looks amazing in that dress! Not too sexy IMO and if she’s comfortable in it I don’t see why it would be an issue.

With the pattern of the lace, all I can see is her chest.  I’d keep looking.

I would add a lace modesty panel, or a piece of black lace to bring the cleavage up by 1.5 inches.

I think it’s SO beautiful and classy! It’s elegant and covered, but alluring at the same time. Perfect as is.

emsie :  You probaby don’t want to hear this, but I don’t think that dress is very flattering on her figure. I would keep looking for something that is more flattering on her. If you’re going with black Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, there are tons of options and different styles.

emsie :  I think this dress is too sexy for a Catholic ceremony. The lace with the nude lining combined with the sheer very very low cut = not something I would wear to a Catholic wedding.

I feel like if it was one (low cut top) or the other (sheer lace pattern) and not both, I could see myself agreeing that it wasn’t too sexy, but I think both is too sexy for a Catholic wedding.

I also think it’s not flattering on your sister. I’m blessed in the chest area and like PP’s have said, I don’t like looking like a giant boob and that’s kind of what it’s doing for your sister. Sorry!

emsie :  not too sexy, but also not super flattering. I think she needs a fuller skirt to balance out her top half – right now she has the “ice cream cone” look going on. I’d look for an Aline gown with a defined waist

I don’t think it shows too much skin or anything but I do think it’s too busy and doesn’t hang right through the thighs.
