I voted the one you like (christina wu’s) because it makes you look taller and skinnier
I voted for the Jovi because it makes you look sexy and classic. You have an amazing body just the right curves in all the right areas.
I like the Jovi the best!
She forgot to tell everyone she cried when she put Janessa on, and it isnt necessarily safe. The color she wants is bold! plus it has rosettes to match the bridesmaid dresses!
I love the Jovi on you!
Hey mom just had a good point, the bird cage veil looks a lot better with taffeta dresses (janessa) vs the satin fabric of the Jovi
Definately the Jovi! It looks so good on you!
Vanesa did you make a wedding bee account just so you could tell the world to vote for the Janessa? lol. Love you bff. <3
Honestly, I really think the Janessa is the most risky honestly. The Jovi is the most flattering on your body. And the Christina looks like the inside of a duvet.
christina wu all the way…remember you can make even the simplest gown memorable by ACCESSORISING!
I voted Jovi. It is for sure the best of the three. it is the most flattering. I like the dress, but I don’t think it’s really that modern or original.
Don’t kill me, but the Janessa is a no. The pickups and such are a huge bridal trend right now and they are EVERYWHERE. If you want original and modern, I don’t think even a gold color could save it.
The Christina Wu does look like a prom dress. Not a fan. Although, it is definitely original and memorable.
I actually really like the dress that the girl behind you in the Wu picture is wearing.
I think the first two are not memorable, even if the one was in gold. I have been to a lot of my friends weddings and I think they have worn similar dresses (one of them was also in gold) but I really don’t remember them. They were just pretty wedding dresses. In the thought of looking for something different, I like the Christina Wu but its not my favorite with the top. I also think the bottom may be too poofy and a bit over much. Maybe continue looking for something similar to that?
Also, the one shoulder look is really in right now and that may be a good way to make a dress more “memorable” and stand out.
I didn’t vote because, for me, it was a tie between Janessa and Christina. 🙂
You bees have had some great advice and I think I’m on the same page with the majority and defn feeling the Jovi. I do, however, have a huge reservation that its on the safe side.
Miraculously, I have a few ideas of how to jazz it up.
One idea is to add a large bow to the spot right below the hip where the fabric splits. Potential problems may be that the fabric is a little loose there – and it may be a little hard for the bow to stay anchored.
Another idea is to add a huge bow right below the butt on the back (see the picture). My only hesitation with that would be that the position is a little weird (I couldn’t do it any higher though because it laces down to around my mid butt). Bows seem more natural at waist level or right above the butt… so we’ll see.
Probably my best idea so far is to add one… or two… sheer shoulder straps identical (except in color of course… there will be no mustard on my wedding day) to Diane Kruger’s SAG gown. Yeah, it’s kind of ripping Jason Wu off, but I’m desperate.
