My husband and I tied the knot in May of this year (yay!) but unfortunately I had to return my original wedding band due to manufacturing issues. I have been looking for a new ring but I’m so nervous to make a decision since the last ring didn’t work out, and let’s face it, they’re not cheap!
i have finally narrowed down a style but I am debating between the diamond sizes. My engagement ring is the .5ct champagne diamond solitaire in the first photo. The band width is 1.5mm.
the second photo is my engagement ring with a white diamond and the larger version of the marquise ring im considering on the hands of a sales associate who is helping me. The diamonds are 2mm x 4mm. The third photo is a smaller version of that ring and the diamonds are 1.5mm x 3mm. I do not have photos of this size with my e ring which makes me nervous, but the last photo is the smaller band with a solitaire with 1.5mm band.
do you prefer the larger diamonds or smaller diamonds with my e ring? I want to make sure the proportions are right. I have really thin and long fingers (size 5.) I plan to wear the rings together and eventually build a stack all in yellow gold. Would love the help deciding!!! If you have a similar ring please post! Thank you bees!
My engagement ring
Smaller diamonds (but haven’t seen with my ring)
Bottom band is smaller diamond size with e ring similar size as mine.

mrsjsh : I do too! I plan on getting a a curved band like that one down the road. Thanks for the feedback! It’s so hard not being able to try them on in person.

Last photo looks amazing!

lulubelle2017 : BeeMysterious : I love it too but not sure if it’s because of the halo ring or because the size of the smaller ring. Should I maybe just get the arched / halo ring for now? Or do you love it for the smaller band? I hate that I can’t try these two on in person haha!

I like the larger diamonds because I think the smaller ones are lost. But I’m of the opinion that if you’re going to have diamonds then you should be able to see them. So if you want the smaller band I’d be inclined to get one in twisted metal.
I love your champagne diamond – I really want one as my next ring!

Just here to say that your ring is stunning!
Is it one of the Anna Sheffield ones?
I agree with PPs that the bottom stack looks amazing! If you do plan on adding more band and doing a stack, the smaller band might be better; it won’t overpower the look and will leave you more room to play with.
That said, I do love how the larger stones look with your ring, the marquise shapes are so elegant, so it doesn’t look like you’re just trying to add as much bling as possible.
Whatever you choose, I can’t wait to see more pics 🙂

Personally I’m a fan of the larger diamonds!!! That combination looks really beautiful together.

cinderdora : it is Anna Sheffield’s Hazeline! Good eye! I’m completely with you — for stacking the smaller ring might be better but I think in general I like the larger stones. I’m not one for bling at all and I only wear dainty jewelry so it’s weird that I like the larger stones.
pinkcarnation : I think I’m leaning towards the larger stones as well! Thanks for the feedback!

howdoyoudo : thanks for the help! I think the smaller stones might get lost too and if I go smaller I might as well do a different style maybe. And thank you so much for your kind words! I love the champagne diamond! You should definitely get one!

Alright I ordered the smaller one (it’s also much more affordable) so will post a pic when it arrives! Fingers crossed they work together!
thank you all so so much for your help! Xoxo
