After 32 years of marriage, if I take my rings off I have an invisible wedding ring underneath. It is not made of precious stones or metals but of a man’s dreams.

natalie19 :  that’s funny because just recently I’ve been wondering if I should have got mine thinner as I also like the way the thin bands look. I couldn’t decide between 2mm and 4mm so in the end let my husband choose, and since he had a plain 5mm band, he liked that the 4mm almost matches. I do also really like how the thicker band looks alone, and since I have gigantor hands I think it works

I had planned on getting a plain wedding band but I couldn’t resist the sparkle after trying this one on.

I have both—my wedding band is the plain gold one. The half-eternity band was an anniversary gift. While I love my diamond band, I am so happy I picked a plain band for my wedding ring. I think plain, gold bands are as timeless and classy as you can get! My band is 3mm, so it’s thick enough for me to wear on its own when I want a more simple look.

alh56 :  Here’s my set! Definitely non traditional… it was already designed as a set so I didn’t have to really customize anything, it was my choice though between the diamond band or a plain band to match and I went for bling 🙂

I have three “wedding bands”, the brottom one is my actual wedding band, the plain band used to be a solitaire but I had the diamond removed when my son was a baby. The top ring is a sort of RHR /stand-in wedding band / second wedding band, engraved with a line from our wedding ceremony and our son’s name. I wear them in different ways, the plain band sometimes gets left at home, but the other two are either on my fingers or on a gold chain around my neck. Especially now with pregnancy swelling…

I adore how white the diamonds are against my skin and love the sparkle. It was sparkle for me all the way!

I also did both. I got married with a plain band and I absolutely love it. I got anniversary bands for our second anniversary and I wear these just went I want to dress it up, which isn’t often I hate to say. I really love the simplicity of a plain band 🙂

My e-ring is currently being re-set at the jewlers so I cant really take a picture at the moment but I was one of the few people who voted both. I have my plain gold wedding band that goes with my engagment ring and a diamond band. I chose the plain because it made my e-ring pop even more and I loved the simplicity of it. That being said, in my profession I wear gloves and my high e-ring is not always convienent. Therefore we bought my chanel set wedding band that I wear in place of my e-ring and wedding band when traveling, or know at work if I will be in gloves all day.

I voted for both because when we get married I’ll have a small platinum spacer that I’ll likely wear with my e-ring without my blingy band. I love the twisty band style, and one of the first jewelry gifts my FH got me was a ring with the eternity symbol on it so I thought the band was fitting! I originally wanted a plain solitaire without pave stones but FH liked the sparkle so I have pave. I want a plain band to wear while we ski, hike etc.
