I put on our invitation “For more information, please visit the couples website at: …” that way, they can find more info, including where we are registered

No. But, like a PP, we did include our wedding website as a seperate enclosure card. the website does list where we are registered under one of the tabs.

Apparently it’s acceptable now and my mum’s insisting our John Lewis cards go in with our invitations, though we’ll also have information on the other two lists on the website.

    Only for day guests though.

Nope, but our wedding website is on it, which has the registry info there.

There is a small card in the invite with the registry info on it, in the social cirlce I am in it is accepted and the norm. Also lots of my guests are older, and computer illiterate guests so while we do have a wedding website with that info, the best way to get the info out was in the invite.

@chasesgirl: The older relatives reasoning is my mum’s excuse for the John Lewis list cards going in our invitations.

The department store we were registered with provided us with cards, like the size of two business cards which were folded in half and put in the envelope with the invitations. It was then up to me to write the registry number on and they purchased from the website.
