I didn’t register at a store, did a honeymoon registry so can’t really say anything about either registry process.

But as a shopper I will not step foot in a Walmart unless I absoultely have to.

However, I have major issues trying not to buy everything in the Target home section! lol

Target home stuff to me is sooo much nicer and better quality.

But one plus I can think to Walmart is they return everything, with or without reciept.

After hearing that Walmart discriminates against female employees by paying them less because “women just work for the sake of working, not to support a family”, I’d definitely say Target. Plus, I think their stuff is actually of decent quality!

I’m a Target fan, too. I just like their stuff better and I think they have a better selection.

Target for sure, I second December Lanie when she said the home stuff is much nicer than Walmart.

I have to agree with @December Lanie: that I WILL NOT go into a Walmart unless it is absolutely 110% necessary. (meaning there isn’t a Target w/in the next 10 miles lol)

However! Beware… I’ve heard (I think here on the Bee, somewhere) where brides have had issues returning items where duplicates had been purchased because the registry hadn’t updated quickly enough, and they weren’t given a gift receipt from the guest. Target has a VERY strict return policy, so whether you’re spreading news of your registry via website, parents, or bridal party, I would personally make sure they STRESS getting a gift receipt, even though the item is on the registry.

Target, for sure.  I currently do shop at Walmart some, just because the closest Target is 45 minutes away (it KILLS me!).  However, I would NEVER buy a wedding gift there – I don’t think they have nice home stuff, it’s not good quality.  Right now, I either buy gifts online or make shopping trips, I will not buy gifts at Walmart.

I actually like walmart more… There is more stuff in there that I like and it is cheaper. Besides, I never had a walmart till a few years ago so I got really sick of target. I will still shop there but I pretty much always shop at walmart now, so that is where we registered.
