Out of all of them, I like Arleigh Ryan best.. But I prefer Ryan as a girl spelled Riane. Raeanne would also sound really pretty.. I like the R names with it!

You may want to confirm the meaning if that is something that is very important to you. It’s very pretty, but I don’t think that’s accurate.

I voted Arleigh Ann – It has a nice flow to it without sounding garbled on the tongue -, very femme and lovely. Also, she will have a pretty looking monogram. AxA . lol i put the x in cause i dont know the first letter of her last name heheh .

I wasn’t familiar with Arleigh as a baby name until now, but the link from PP says that arleigh is a boy name? I suppose gender association with names is fluid. At any rate, Michelle and Ann seem to flow well with the name.

I’m stuck between Arleigh Michelle and Arleigh Ryan. My middle name is Michelle and I absolutely love it! But I also have a great friend named Ryan (SHE is awesome and I love how unique her name is). All of your choices have great flow 🙂 Congrats!

I like Arleigh Ryan, because it keeps the whole name anrogynous.

The She Knows site is the only one I saw that listed a Hebrew origin. All of the others list only the English origin, from the hare’s meadow or similar.

If you like the name then absolutely go for it, it’s very cute, but like wonderlily I doubt the Hebrew origin. It just doesn’t sound like any other Hebrew name I have ever heard.

Arleigh Ryan could be a boys’ name to me, and I don’t like Arleigh Ann because it kind of runs together and sounds like Ar Leanne! So I like Michelle or Nicole best.

carrolltobee:  it might be related to some Hebrew word, but that is not a name of Hebrew origin.  I have never met a Jewish Arleigh.  Many Leahs, but never an Arleigh.  It sounds like a very “goyishe” name.

edit: I looked it up, “Arlys” is a Hebrew name meaning “pledge.”  That’s probably the connection.
