    seeing as i work 18+ hours sometimes (5 days a week…), I would certainly opt for fewer days at work!

    I work Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week.  If I didn’t have so many things going on in the evenings (classes at the gym and Aikido practice once a week) I might consider 4 10 hour days (or 9 or whatever) to get three days off instead of 2.

    I voted for the 10 hour days. I find I’m more productive when I have more time at work to push projects through. You would save money on gas and wear and tear of your car bc you’d be commuting less. Plus, 3 day weekends means more time for mini-vacays. =)

    I worked 4 12’s. I loved it at first, but then I found I spent majority of the 5th day catching up on laundry, groceries, housework etc. that I had neglected during the week (therefore negating the 4 day work week).

    @PinkElephants21:  i have 3 options.

    5 –  8 hour days,

    4 – 10 hour days

    or what they call 4 by 5 by 9 or alternate work schedule (AWS).  let’s say your AWS days is friday .  you work 9 hour days m-TH for both weeks in pay period, 1st friday you work 8 hours and then have the second friday off.  or whatever schedule you work out.

    i work M-F 7:30 -4pm and i telework 1 day per week.  we are moving to telework 2+ days per week.

    i like being home.  i can do laundry and cook.

    @PinkElephants21:  3 day weekends are awesome, but I have a feeling you will get bored with them since you wont get to spend extra time with your SO.  If I were you I would just do the 5 day work week.

    @PinkElephants21:  Would you have the option at starting at 7 so you could finish 1/2 hour earlier at the end of the day? What about having a Tuesday or Wednesday off instead of friday so you can spend it with your SO?

    Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day.

    I work 10.5 hours a day, 5 days+ per week; if I had the opportunity to work shorter days, or have a three day weekend, I would definitely choose the three day weekend.

    I work the 4 day, 10 hour shift schedule and I LOVE IT! DH does, too, and we enjoy each and every long weekend.

    I can barely squeeze in my regular after work chores/hobbies/activities/exercise in as is with an 8 hour work day, so I think a 10 hour work day would not let me accomplish anything after work.

    I’m working 10 hours days 5 days a week, so I would definitely take the 4 days a week working 10 hours!
