I have really short fingers so I’ve always wanted a larger stone to make them look longer and lean. I have a 2.3 carat with a halo and for me that’s perfect finger coverage. I also have a sapphire so it was doable.

In terms of diamonds and more classic settings, on my friends and family I seem to prefer .5-1 carat stones.

Ok well I read every post here and it seems I’m that Bee who loves obnoxiously big stones.  I’ve always favored 3-4 carat round solitaires but needed up with a 5 carat pear which I can’t stop obsessing over.  Even more so because it’s locked away in a safe until proposal day!   I can’t lie I love a lot of real estate on my hand!

My finger size is 4.5 so anything would look big on me. I feel my ring is perfect size (for me, and of course I’m partial to it) lol. Mine is .75 but everyone tends to think it’s 1 carat. So .75-1 carat is a perfect range I think! There’s a pic with my band when I tried them on together.

I like different sizes depending on the style. I have a 1ct halo, but love 0.5ct solitaires.

@ricli: lol! Here is my ring now! My fingers are a little swollen from being 9 months pregnant so I can’t wait to see it when my fingers aren’t as swollen!

@confettihearts88:  Trust me you will want 4 carats after childbirth that is the hardest experience ever and yet blissful.  When done you’ll look at him with tears streaming and be like yea I’m going to need an upgrade!🤣

All of these rings are absolutely beautiful in all the carat size posted.  It concerns me that people seem to think that individuals with moderately larger stones above three carats is considered obnoxious.  And if that’s the case then I guess I’m pretty damn obnoxious as well as a lot of other Bees who were gifted sixeable stones. This is why I don’t even post mine on these threads unless I feel the thread is safe to do so. The point is  your diamond whether it’s Moisannite, Lab, natural mined Diamond or gemstone Is your choice. Beautiy is in the eye of the beholder her and I think we should celebrate everyone’s ring choices as that ring choice celebrates who they are.  My Fiance picked a ring that was sentimental a carat size for how many years it took to find each other after divorce. He also knows I like seemingly large stones. That’s just me. I thought that was cool and would not have thought of that.  I’m not sorry if it offends people I am grateful that everytime I look at it I am reminded that true live can be found.
