I have a heart, because I’m ridiculous.  A few years later, a local jeweler carried meteor cut, and I’m glad I didn’t know, because they’re expensive, and I’d have demanded one.

I don’t regret my heart.  Many of the pages that discuss shape/cut say that hearts get old after a while.

    Whatever.  :p

I have an emerald cut! I adore my big flashes of light and rainbows πŸ™‚ I think all the cuts are beautiful though, especially less common cuts! I have been drooling over rose-cut moissanite on instagram lately, maybe someday for a RHR πŸ™‚

My wonderful wonderful fiancé picked her out himself after apparently doing hours and hours of research into cut. He really did an amazing job. She might be little, but she’s the most sparkly diamond I’ve ever seen!

hobbitses :  Yours is GORGEOUS! Part of me wishes that my man had thought of a halo! Ovals are amazing with halos. I too feel like pictures don’t do my ring any justice. It looks so… stumpy in pictures, if that makes sense.

Mine is cushion. I like that the shape is a blend of angles and curves.

I have a princess cut. My #1 choice would have been pear shaped, but it just wasn’t in the budget. Princess was my #2 choice, but for the most part I am pleased with the shape of it πŸ™‚

hobbitses :  I think princess has become less popular in recent years especially because oval and cushion cuts have become all the rage
