I have a heart, because I’m ridiculous. A few years later, a local jeweler carried meteor cut, and I’m glad I didn’t know, because they’re expensive, and I’d have demanded one.
I don’t regret my heart. Many of the pages that discuss shape/cut say that hearts get old after a while.

I have an emerald cut! I adore my big flashes of light and rainbows 🙂 I think all the cuts are beautiful though, especially less common cuts! I have been drooling over rose-cut moissanite on instagram lately, maybe someday for a RHR 🙂

My wonderful wonderful fiancé picked her out himself after apparently doing hours and hours of research into cut. He really did an amazing job. She might be little, but she’s the most sparkly diamond I’ve ever seen!
Yours is GORGEOUS! Part of me wishes that my man had thought of a halo! Ovals are amazing with halos. I too feel like pictures don’t do my ring any justice. It looks so… stumpy in pictures, if that makes sense.

I have a cushion 🙂 took almost a year to figure stone and shape. Cushion was my end love.

I have an asscher cut which was exactly what I always wanted!

Mine is cushion. I like that the shape is a blend of angles and curves.

I have a rhr with some small heart-cut stones in it. I’ve had it for 3 years and I’ve never gotten sick of it. I think if you like it now there’s no reason you would get sick of it any faster than someone would with a different cut!
thank you so much! I think your ring is absolutely stunning. You can definitely tell from the photos how sparkly it must be irl! I don’t think it looks small at all. I love that ovals face up larger than expected. 🙂
I love the setting, really compliments the cut! Totally worth the time trying to figure out what you wanted

I am not surprised that round is winning by a lot in the poll. I think everyone in their right mind can enjoy the classic sparkle from those beauties! (even if its only on someone else)
What I am surprised about is the two that are the next most popular. It seems to be pretty much a tie for 2nd between oval and cushion. I thought for sure princess would be up there too. Shows what I know!
Thanks for the votes everyone!

I have a princess cut. My #1 choice would have been pear shaped, but it just wasn’t in the budget. Princess was my #2 choice, but for the most part I am pleased with the shape of it 🙂

I think princess has become less popular in recent years especially because oval and cushion cuts have become all the rage

I have always had round diamonds. 😊
