I have stubby fingers and I thought a round (what I thought I wanted originally) made them look even stubbier. I think oval kind of elongates my fingers which is why I chose an oval.

futuremrssarahj :  I feel the same, its funny how you just know….I have always wanted mine to be princess and find myself noticing others whereas if i see a different cut I generally just glance for a second and think how pretty…see a princess and i just want to gush ….haha

So many beautiful rings on here! I had always thought I wanted a princess cut before I tried an emerald cut on – then I knew it was the only cut for me.

I wouldn’t say no to a princess cut someday though! Here’s mine – posted many times before. He did good 🙂

Emerald cut here! Was my grandmother’s stone. I love emeralds! I also wouldn’t say no to a classic round or an oval!

I love my princess cut. I definitely feel that I see many more princesses in ‘real life’ than here on the Bee. I have several alternative sets but always come back to my princess(es)!

I did a lot of poking around antique and vintage jewelry sites for ideas on unique/timeless looks.  My fiance and I designed the ring and had it custom made based on my favorite finds.  It’s pear cut, white gold tulip-style crown setting with a gold band.  Such a fun process!  And I love that we did it together.ring

My fiance picked mine with the help of his woman of honor, and I absolutely love how clean it is and that the cut is so slimming on my giant hands haha
